香港中西區美食---生記鮮魚湯米線@上環Vermicelli and fish soup specialist @Sheung Wan(SPD4459)

Vermicelli and fish soup specialist is a traditional Hong Kong restaurant which provides Vermicelli with fish soup. The environment of the restaurant is better than my expectation.

I arrived the restaurant around 3:30 pm. Perhaps it is affected by the activity, Occupy Central. There are not too many people inside. Although the restaurant has limited area, I can find a seat very easily.

 Here is the menu.The menu are clear, since it has many photos of the food. However it only have the Chinese version
All the foods are in valuable price. They even provide HK$ 3 discount to the customers after 2:00pm.

This time, I ordered the braised fish curd Vermicelli with fish soup and an extra dish Grilled pork neck meat.

The Fish soup is very delicious. The soup is milky. It contains a strong fish taste but does not have any fishy smell or taste. The vermicelli contains sprout and a little bit vegetable. It gives a fresh, pure feeling to me.

For the braised fish curd, it tastes great. Although it fried, it doesn’t oily. When you put it into your mouth, it is soft and tender. And the scent of the fish with slight pepper would drive you to keep eating it.

The Grilled pork neck meat is amazing also. Whatever the smell, the tastes are really great. I always eat pork neck meat, but this is one of the best tastes ever.

Overall:this restaurant is worth for a trial. It is valuable with a good quality of food.
